Dynaction Series Eva Test Type Unit-01
What's up collectors, today we are going to be talking about the new Dynaction Series from Tamashii Nations. You're probably asking yourself what the heck is the Dynaction Series? Well, they are large-scale, highly articulated figures with incredible quality. The inaugural figure comes to us straight out of Evangelion with the Eva Test Type Unit-01 piloted by Shinji Ikari.
This beast towers at a whopping 15.75" and comes loaded with a plethora of accessories including 4 pairs of optional hands, a pallet rifle, progressive knife, umbilical cord, shoulder armor, a Shinji Ikari figure, and a stand for dynamic posing. Tamashii Nations didn't leave much left to the imaginations as this figure has it all.
Admittedly, we here at Bluefin like to take our toys and collectibles out of the box. But let's pretend for a second that we decided to keep this beast locked in its cage. It's worth noting the box art and style alone are worth the price of admission. As you can see, this box has a viewing window hidden behind the front face flap. This allows for admirers (including yourself) to get a taste of what DynAction has to offer.
You will notice in the product description the DynAction Series Eva Unit-01 also includes a Shinji Ikari figure. Please note the size, as this is an itty-bitty Shinji and we would hate for you to lose it. Look closely and you will see him in the palm of the Eva's hand. Adorable, right

Other notable features include the figure stand, complete with locking mechanisms to support the weight of Unit-01 and allows for a wide range of dynamic posing. Additionally, the Eva's mouth is moveable, revealing teeth and gums, perfect for posing whilst in berserk mode.
The figure retails for $190 and preorders sold out fast. Be on the lookout for restocks, but supplies are extremely limited. Don't let this one pass you by.
Tamashii Nations recently revealed Shin Ultraman as the next figure in the DynAction lineup, and we can't wait to get our geeky little hands on it.
