2020 took us by surprise and put a halt on our regular show season. We had plans to attend numerous conventions around the United States and would be bringing in the big guns with shelves full of model kits, collectible figures, lucky bags, and more! Although our plans to physically bring you "the goods" was thwarted by current events, we here at Bluefin, are still able to offer you various figures and collectibles at amazing prices through our digital events. That being said, we're excited to share with you our newest event Spring into Savings!

The Mandalorian is a cultural phenomenon. The Disney+ series, which debuted in 2019 with the new streaming service, was an instant hit with Star Wars fans. The story follows the titular character as he travels the galaxy with his adorable sidekick, Baby Yoda, we mean "The Child"...err Grogu.  

The Star Wars franchise has been a toy and collectible juggernaut since 1977 when the saga debuted, and that tradition continues with The Mandalorian.

We are celebrating Star Wars all week long and today we wanted to share our top 5 lightsabers from Star Wars. Looking back on 43 years of Star Wars it was pretty tough to come to a consensus on which five would ultimately make the cut. Almost every lightsaber is cool in its own way, but right now we are looking at the "wow factor" and your daddy's lightsaber might be good enough for that librarian, Jocasta Nu, in Episode II. Just kidding; she's great!

During our interoffice discussions we explored the expanded universe and brought up some unique and practical hilts. Jedi Master Tera Sinube (The Clone Wars), used a cane that also served as a lightsaber hilt. Crazy, right? The same could be said for Asajj Ventress who's dual wielding lightsabers would interlock to make for a carousel of carnage.

To celebrate May the 4^th we thought it would be fun to rank our top 5 Star Wars video games. Obviously, there are a several amazing titles to choose from over the last four decades, going all the way back to 1983 with the classic arcade game, Star Wars, from Atari. Here players take on the role of Luke Skywalker piloting an X-Wing fighter set to destroy the Death Star. As a child that grew up in the 80's, I can honestly say plenty of my hard-earned coins fed this machine.

The most recent entry in Star Wars video games came last year with the smash hit, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game was developed by Respawn Entertainment and sold a whopping 8 million copies in the first two months of release. This game also introduced us to several new characters to fall in love with including an adorable droid, BD-1.
