Storm Collectibles Announces Reptile Action Figure
Storm Collectibles is known for their highly-articulate action figures featuring some of the most iconic characters in fighting video game history. Throughout the years they have made figures from video game series such as Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods Among Us, King of Fighters, Gears of War, Golden Axe, and many more!
Mortal Kombat is one of Storm Collectibles longest running action figure lines. They have created over a dozen different characters into figures such as Shao Kahn, Goro, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion, to name a few. Storm Collectibles has recently announced the newest addition to their Mortal Kombat figure line - Reptile. Let's take a quick look at the green ninja warrior!
"His home realm of Zaterra is gone, mysteriously destroyed ages ago. Reptile is the last known surviving member of his race. He has since made Outworld his home. Shao Kahn has made use of Reptile's mastery of stealth to spy on suspected traitors and slay known enemies of the empire. But the knowledge that he is the last of his kind gnaws at Reptile. He would give anything, kill anyone, if it would bring his realm back from the abyss. Self-pity fuels his aggression as he inflicts suffering and death on others."
This new version of Reptile gives him a similar style to that of previously released figures of Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Just like many Storm Collectibles figures, Reptile includes a plethora of accessories such as interchangeable hands, and his iconic forceball effect. Reptile also includes an additional head sculpt that changes him into his reptilian form, along with an acid spit effect, and tongue effect.
Check out the gallery down below for a closer look at Reptile's articulation and all his amazing accessories.
