GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP 13th TOURNAMENT NOW OPEN
The ultimate test for plastic model kit building is now officially open and is seeking participants! Diehard fans of Mobile Suit Gundam and GUNPLA can try their creativity and craftsmanship through the GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP 13th Tournament to see who’s the best at their craft!
What is the GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP?
The GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP (GBWC) which first began in 2011, is a global tournament for Gundam plastic model kits organized officially by BANDAI SPIRITS. Preliminaries are held in each area/region around the world to decide the world champion of creating GUNPLA!
Participants can join through two different courses, each representing a separate age category for builders:
OVER-21 Course – Ages 21 and above (Born on or before December 31, 2004).
U-20 Course – Ages 16 to 20 (Born on or after January 1, 2005 ~ Born before December 31, 2009).

The 13th GBWC spans 16 regions worldwide, including:
Australia, Canada, Europe & Middle East, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Inland China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam

How to Participate in the U.S.
Participants seeking to join the GBWC 13th Tournament will have until September 30th to submit their entries online through the appropriate entry form.
HobbyTown USA will also be collaborating with the GBWC 13th Tournament through an offline contest which will be held on August 16th through participating stores. To join the offline contest, participants must first register online through the same entry form on the official GBWC 13th Tournament website then bring their entry to exhibit at the participating store.
Offline entries will be eligible for both the GBWC 13th Tournament prizing as well as additional prizing selected via the HobbyTown Award.
