Anime Expo 2019
Anime Expo, or as it is commonly referred to, AX, is a four-day anime convention that typically takes place over the July 4th holiday in Los Angeles, California. The convention is run by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), a non-profit committed to advancing Japanese animation. Highlights of the event include a charity auction, battle of the bands, cosplay competition and an Anime Music Video competition. The show also plays host to a number of anime and collectible panels and showcases and features a large exhibition floor showcasing large companies promoting upcoming releases as well as vendors selling everything from costumes to plush versions of your favorite anime characters.
The 2019 show will take place from July 4th through July 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Bluefin will have 2 booths at the event. Our main retail booth, where you can pick up products from all our lines will be BOOTH 2411. We will also be neighbors and partners with the Gundam booth at BOOTH 2611. That booth will feature a photo opportunity with our RX-78 statue. Be sure to use #BluefinBrands when you post the pic on social media for a chance to win one of our Anime Expo prizes. Booth 2611 will also feature displays of upcoming releases, convention exclusives and even Gundam apparel.
